2. Ordering & Payment

  • All purchases must be paid for in full before delivery is made.
  • A deposit may be required when placing an order; the remaining balance must be settled before dispatch.
  • Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment and acceptance by Acorn Target Systems Ltd.

3. Delivery

  • Delivery details, including estimated timeframes and costs, will be confirmed at the time of purchase.
  • For mainland UK customers, Acorn will arrange and cover the cost of shipping for warranty repairs.
  • If any goods are delivered damaged, Acorn Target Systems Ltd must be notified immediately. Customers must reject or sign for damaged goods upon receipt. If the condition of the goods is not visible at the time of delivery, they must be signed for as “condition and contents unknown.”

4. Warranty & Product Guarantee

3-Year Manufacturers Warranty Coverage

Acorn Target Systems Ltd guarantees that our traps are free from defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use and conditions. Our warranty includes:

  • Defects in Materials and Workmanship – If a manufacturing defect occurs within three years of purchase, we will repair or replace the defective part free of charge.
  • Electrical Components – Coverage includes motors, wiring, and control units. Any manufacturing faults or early-life failures will be repaired or replaced.
  • Mechanical Failures – Coverage includes springs, gears, and moving parts that malfunction under normal operating conditions.
  • Labour Costs for Repairs – Repairs for covered defects will be performed by Acorn’s engineers at no cost to the customer.
  • Shipping Costs for Warranty Repairs – For mainland UK customers, Acorn will arrange and cover shipping costs to and from their workshop. For international customers, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the buyer.

What is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or neglect.
  • External factors such as extreme weather or power surges.
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs made by anyone other than Acorn Target Systems Ltd.

5. Returns & Refunds

Custom-Built & Made-to-Order Products

  • We do not accept returns for custom-built or made-to-order products. However, all goods are covered under our 3-Year Manufacturers Warranty, ensuring they function correctly.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

  • If any goods are delivered and found to be faulty or damaged, customers must notify Acorn Target Systems Ltd immediately.
  • Goods must be returned to Acorn before replacements are issued.
  • All dispatched goods are in full working order. Claims for damage during transit require photographic evidence at the time of delivery.

  • Our website provides information about our products and services but does not facilitate direct sales.
  • All content, including images and descriptions, remains the property of Acorn Target Systems Ltd.
  • We reserve the right to modify website content and pricing information at any time without prior notice.
